Big Meridian Builder Goes Bankrupt

Over extended and unable to weather the storm Crestwood Construction filed for Bankruptcy in April.  Leaving behind bare lots and unfinished homes in Nampa, Meridian, and Eagle: http://www.idahostatesman.com/localnews/story/477345.html.

Why this is certainly not the beginning and probably won't be the last the saddest part I think are the little guys who get left out in the cold.  The small subcontractors who cannot absorb the loss are usually the first ones shut out when it comes to the liquidating of assets to repay debts.  Most unfortunate is these are the ones most likely to be put into financial jeopardy by the default.
