MAPLE LAKE is located 8 miles south of Alexandria on Highway 29. It's shores are 50 percent wooded and 50 percent agricultural land. There are both homes and cottages on this lake of 835 acres in size and a maximum depth of 72 feet. Walleyes and northern pike are the best species to fish for at Maple.
