Sand in the City in Olympia

By
Industry Observer

This weekend is the annual Sand in the City celebration in Olympia, and it is a good example of the many fun and free family events we have here.  Sand in the City is an amazing group of sand sculptures created by diffent local businesses with the help of some experts in sand sculpture technique.  There are also lots of water and sand related activities for kids, so come on down this weekend to check it out!  It is located kind of behind Anthony's Hometown Restaurant along the waterfront, and you can also walk right over to Farmer's Market while you are downtown.  So combine a chance to marvel at the creative & very detailed sculptures, vote for your favorites, and then go grab some locally grown veggies and fruit for a snack - yummmm!
