I hope you had a great week and are looking forward to this beautiful weekend! It's Friday at 5:30 and I have tons of work to do! Lots of loans this week with Construction loans edging out refinances and regular purchases.
I have a great network of Modular Home Builders that I work with and that brings wonderful customers my way! I am blessed!
My son Matthew is coming home from Iraq on August 31st, I hope! He's in the National Guard and has been in Bagdad since March. Not too long for him but as a mother it's been very long for me! The good thing is that he has saved up money to buy a home! Of course, he'd better be using me as his loan officer!
Every year on Mother's Day my kids make me a card! Some of the cards through the years by Matthew have been priceless! He once drew a picture of a nice home and a trailer in the background! He told me that was were I was going to live when I got old! I guess he has my sense of humor!
The mortgage business is still booming despite what you may hear on the news etc.! Trust me that there are plenty of people buying homes, building homes and doing refinances. Uusually the refinances are to get out of Adjustabel rate mortgages. It's great to help put people's minds at ease knowing they are now in a fixed mortgage!
