Arizona Mortgage: A Touch Up

Mortgage and Lending with Arizona Wholesale Mortgage Inc.

Most people won't be very interested in this post about Arizona Mortgage loans and Arizona mortgages in general.

However, those of you that are interested in getting your ActiveRain blogs or profiles to appear higher in the search engine results might want to do something with your own blog, sort of like what I am about to do with mine.  It's about to get a quick touch-up.

Since we write about all kinds of stuff in our blogs, it can be hard for the search engines to determine what your blog is about exactly.  As a former professional SEO and current SEO hobbyist, I tend to write quite a bit about the aforementioned topic.  However, I need to make sure that I stuff my blog with posts about what really butters my bread:  Arizona Mortgage Loans.

I am going to create an informative post, using good, original, search engine friendly copy and make this baby all about Arizona mortgage loans.  I am going to link to important places and people.  When Google crawls this post, Google will find those links and all this good information and Google will know, without a doubt, that this post / page is about Arizona mortgages.  Check this out; you might want to do this on your own page / blog / profile:

(Remember, Google loves information more than SEO tricks!  So provide the information it wants!  Like so...)

The Arizona Department of State Banking licenses all mortgage brokers and mortgage bankers in the state of Arizona.  If you have a complaint with an Arizona mortgage company, this is the place to go (and try the BBB of course).  I find it best to call these folks, as emails tend to get...uh...lost for whatever reason down at Arizona State Banking.  Are you a mortgage broker in another state or a consumer perhaps?  Here is a link to find the state banking departments in the other 49.

The Arizona Association of Mortgage Brokers is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1980 to "promote the interests" of those of us who do business in the Arizona mortgage industry.

This will probably not be very interesting, unless you are an Arizona mortgage broker / banker, but here are the HUD audit reports for Arizona mortgage companies.  If you are not in the mortgage business, chances are, your eyes will gloss over reading this stuff.

This is the City of Phoenix, AZ website.  I was going to link to some very good housing grant information, but the link I found in Google is actually dead.  Instead, we can visit the Arizona Dept of Housing

Finally, I am going to link to the Arizona Diamondbacks.  Yes, I know this has nothing to do with loans or mortgages, and I've never landed a player as a client (not a Diamondbacks player anyway), but guys, if you need a mortgage - Karen is here for you.

I like it. Good points for getting blogs and websites ranked higher. So should some of these be at the bottom of teh home page on teh website or is it ok to have them buried?

I have my own theory about that Larry...  And, unlike other stuff- which I've tested and re-tested and know that it works- this is just a theory.

The internet used to be nothing but academic articles with endnotes (or, on a page, I guess they are footnotes).  Those footnotes would be links to the information cited.

I think, by doing it this way, you give your site a footnotey-feel, and I believe it HELPS you to "bury" them on a short page like this, but it is just speculation at this point.  Let's see what this post does!

Karen - Thanks for the suggestions - do you have any before and after metrics that show the impact in search results of implementing these tips?

Karen,

I will always read you as I learn something every time. You could write about sand on the bottom of the ocean and I would be there.

Karen,

As an AR newbie (and I came here guessing/hoping/praying at what the whole concept of "blogging" was all about), I am already in complete agreement with our friend Mr. Hamilton.

I have visited and revisited your blog over the course of the past 24-48 hours. Undoubtedly, I too will continue reading - and learning - as long as you'll have me ... even if you DID decide to embellish on those grains of sand.  :-)

Thank you

Fran- I am blushing and I have a very stupid grin on my face right now.  Thank you so much!

Thank you to everyone for the nice comments; I really appreciate it a great deal.

By the way, if anybody is reading this:  I did a very stupid thing.  I wanted this post to be "crawled" by Google, but I made it "members only" which means Google will never find it.  I think I'll write a post about that right now...well, at least after I make this thing "public."
