Photo-montage Audio Blog of the 2008 Blueberry Festival

VideoAd by Mixpo The boys had a nice time visiting in the Village of Ellenville, located in Ulster County, New York. We attended the 2008 Blueberry Festival and were impressed with the vendors and residents, not to mention the awesome eye candy provided by the Shawangunk Mountains to the East and the Catskills to the Northwest. During our travels we received a lovely treat for we saw the monks dressed in very interesting attire walking along Grau Road and Pleasant Valley Road. My favorite parts of the Blueberry Festival included the food, live bands and the rock climbing wall. Noah literally curled up in the grass to listen to the music and later wandered over to climb the wall twelve times. When he discovered he could jump off and be lowered gently by the harness, it was all that he wanted to do during the later part of the afternoon. I'm sorry we didn't get to spend more time with the Pizappi family. Maybe on our next AR adventure together. In the meantime, Stephen and Noah have been "helping me out" with creating a new song for this presentation (which is not finished and has yet to be named) and they are also sorting through our vacation photographs. I let the boys point and pick their favorites. I hope you like the pictures and music. The music was produced with my Korg N364 and Sony Acid 4.0. Enjoy!

Hi Carolyn,

I am still tired.  Sorry again we could not do more than pass each other at the restaurant.  I see we made your video.  Great shots and you got quite a few of the blur minion clearly shown without his masking blur turned on.  Good job.

C- so sorry we weren't able to make it yesterday.  By the time I got home- the kids and hubby were soo tired.  It looked like a great time.  There are so many wonderful things like that up here- it's hard to get to them all.

BTW- you have so many amazing talents- I'm so impressed.

Carolyn... This is a video of pictures of your trip to the Blueberry Festival.  You are improving with leaps and bounds with your abilities with the technology.  Your children are beautiful.

Paddy, don't worry about it, my kids have tuckered me out today. As I type this Noah is literally walking past my desk with a garbage can on his head. (Don't ask! LOL) He is supposed to be in his bed sleeping. Daddy just told him he looks like a robot peeking through the mesh, so of course that translates into "its okay that I am  standing next to my father at 11:45 PM" in minion speak... after all, Daddy did not say "take that trash can off of your head and go to bed!" Come to think of it, neither did I. See, we're both too exhausted to send him on his way. :-) Hmm... I suddenly got the urge to say "bad parenting" and spank myself (LOL).

Valerie, thank you for your kind words. I'm glad you liked it. The boys are such cutie pies and had so much fun running around on the mountain. We were amazed at how far up we were. The views were awesome!

C- I am glad you had a great time. I love the video montage. Did you eat blueberries? They are loaded with antioxidants- good stuff! Don't you love Ulster County?

Don, I'm glad you enjoyed the little minions and enjoy your week as well, sweetie. :-)

Hey Big Mike, I seem to be doing more on vacation than when I am off (LOL). It's fun running around making it up as we go along. Mixpo is certainly going to help keep things interesting. I'm fooling around with Avid now and will be on the Korg playing with Sony Acid within the hour. :-)

Barbara, we did have a lot of fun, we all love blueberries and I am looking forwarding to learning more about Ulster County. Very beautiful views...

Bowl me over, C, that was incredible. I have no idea how you did it, and even if you explained it to me, I probably still wouldn't understand. The kids were hilarious and infectious with their laughter, too! So, where are the blueberries???? Did I miss them?

WOW!  Is that your first AR Video production? Very cool!  I have to say it takes a bit to impress me, but your photo montage and sound overlay's were great!  Can't wait to see when you start incorporating video footage into your stuff.  Great job C~  :-))

PS - Saw your other post about the lead tis generated, AWESOME!  That's wonderful news...

Very well done!  How are you marketing this to get the word out and get some added exposure?

Brad, this is actually my second one, the first one was a wee bit audio challenged (LOL). Thank you for your kind words and I am very happily working away on three new video presentations as well as another photo-montage audioblog. This is really fun and we are making lots of plans to max out our Mixpo features. My hubby has been sending everyone he knows to my AR Outside Blog to check this out. He's just as excited as I am about discovering what we can do with a Nikon, Digital 8 Handycam, Yamaha, Korg, Avid, Sony Acid, and Mixpo. We are improving our digital skills as a family team. Very cool and mad fun working together. :-)

Thank you, Paul. Would you believe this went viral the first hour it was on AR? AOL videos picked it up, then Truveo.com had two embeds and the next thing I know my Google Alerts had me giggling at the computer. I have a link to my outside blog on my websites and created a Localism sticker to get my regulars to check it out over there as well. It plays beautifully on the outside blog, but the AR staff is working on fixing the hitch that doesn't allow it to play on Localism. (The screen splits in a bizarre manner.)

I'm actually marketing it the same way we market a listing (LOL). All of my listing flyers now have a small  Localism tag on the bottom talking about the fact that I blog exclusively at AR. It looks like this:

My Outside Blog is simply a text link on the homepage of TannStarr.com next to my name in purple. Right now, I spend more of my energy promoting Localism because it's new and I already have a small following for my A.R.O.B., which is very cool. I plan on hosting all of my new Mixpo presentations on my outside blog, syndicating it to YouTube (and a few other spots now that I've learned about Truveo.com).

Morning C,

Great presentation. Looks like everyone had a great time. How old are the boys? Looking at your pictures brought me back to the days when my son's were in that age bracket. You willl looks at those pictures in time to come and relive these fun family days.
