Broward County Public Schools

The 2009-2010 School Boundaries indicate that these are the home schools for the Monarch Lakes Community.  However, the boundaries can change at any time.

I recommend that when purchasing a home you visit www.BrowardSchools.com for the most updated information.

Coconut Palm Elementary - A

New Renaissance Middle School - A

Everglades High School - C

On an average the High Schools have a lower grade despite being good schools as the schools are graded by the number of graduates vs transfers/drop outs in addition to the FCAT scores.

Last year there were 5 A schools.  They were as follows:

  • Atlantic Technical (4 yrs)
  • Coral Glades (2 yrs)
  • McFatter Technical (A 7 yrs)
  • Nova (5 yrs)
  • Pompano Bch (7 yrs)

The year prior there were 11 A High Schools in Broward County. The amount of foreclosures in Florida have had a major impact in the school gradings, over the past few years, due to the amount turn arounds.

I can provide you with a list of available homes in Miramar & Pembroke Pines area or any area in the Broward School District. Simply send me an email at Info@RealEstateWish.com with the price range, # beds, baths and the areas you are interested in and I will provide you with an updated list of homes for sale.

Feel free to contact me with any additional questions you may have.
