Real Estate Agent with eXp Realty

Hello Everyone,

I've been out of the loop for about 6 weeks now because I relocated to Plantation FL! I really despise moving from neighborhood to neighborhood so imagine State to State! Anyway, I think I'm beginning to settle in......except for the BULLFROGS and IGUANAS......but hey- that's another story.

I need some advice and or help. I'm still actively licensed in Georgia and would also like to get my Florida real estate license. My plan is to become solely a referral agent in both states because next year I will be moving back to the Bahamas after my fiance and I are married and focus on real estate in the Bahamas. He has been in the wholesale seafood business for about 20 yrs and recently expanded to the Miami area so we will maintain a home here.

My dilemma is; which real estate broker in FL accommodates agents that are strictly referral agents and don't charge an arm and a leg to the agent as a result. I called a few companies from the yellow pages and end up speaking to the receptionist and they in turn ask me to call back because they don't have the answers I need; or I would be forwarded to an agents voicemail and nobody calls me back. I guess if I say I'm a buyer that needs their assistance my phone would be ringing off the hook............(just a joke guys I completely understand).

Seriously though- if anyone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it!
