I would first like to say thank you Melody Young for introducing me to Active Rain, I have known her since she worked for Capital Six. Thanks Girl! My name is Mitch Valmer, I have been in the business for a while and one of the reason's why I am not struggling is because of the relationships we have built with other's. (CPA'S , Lawyers, other mortgage professionals, etc...). It's about professionalism, This is a bussiness so present yourself as such, have the mind set- The Edge, have a business plan and execute it! Have a niche ,market yourself, make an everlasting mark on your future relationships. If you promise something, follow through with your promises(Meeting, going out to lunch, on the yacht or bringing them business). You have to be diplomatic. Never burn bridges. You never know where your next or last deal will come from. Business Relationship's are your referral source that is your blood in this market. Even my barber is a source. The bottom line is you have to network! Meet people face to face. You know the old realtor saying" It's about Location, Location & Location" well I have a saying "It's about networking, networking and networking".
