I Just saw the weirdest house ever. It was the first time I ever had goose bumps raised while viewing a home.
Just yesterday I saw a listing for what seemed to be a "good deal". I got excited, printed the listing, called my clients and off we were. Upon arriving, we noted a very solid garage door, no glass, sturdy, bright flood lights all over the outside.....hmmm! Could this be good thing? As we approached the door, it was a very solid oak door with multiple dead bolts, no glass and flood light everywhere. Upon openning the door, the place was painted bright purple and pink....every room. But that is not the weird part, it had every window and sliding door with covered with retractable steel shutters that required a lock and key to operate. The bathroom had a chain lock bolted in place. The back yard was also covered with flood lights and an electrified fence. You woudl think this house was built inside a prison exercise yard but it was in the middle of a beautiful community with kids and moms walking along the designated well groomed green path.
I am not sure if the "Security" was designed to keep people out or to keep people in.....get it?
My customers quickly crossed the house off their list and could not get out of there quick enough.
