KISS...we all know what that means

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Realty Suburban

"Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler. " - Albert Einstein

So true.  Often we, the agents, complicate what should otherwise go uncomplicated.  Is it for good cause or for ego???

Listening to your Needs
People are complicated and agents are people. You are right, many agents just need to move out of the way.

Most of the time it all begins for a good cause, then ... is for our ego.

KISS!  Keep It Simple Simple?  Is that what it meant?  I remember this very smart guy in his late 30's who started the business when I started and he used to preach about KISS and other tactics.  Poor guy went back to selling cars and he didn't make it in the mortgage world.  I guess my thing is that if your not naturally talented to speak with clients/agents then you won't make it.  I have never read a book on becoming more succesful, I have just done it all by myself.  Am I a bad person for not reading books?

KISS kind of goes along with not reinventing the wheel as well, especially in this business.  Another agent once told me you can do fifty things right but you won't be very productive.  Do two or three things GREAT, and you will be a success.
