S.S.S.-Storm Season Stress, Its that time of year!

By
Real Estate Agent with Gardner Realtors, Licensed in La.

Real Estate slows down when a storm is ready to enter the Gulf Of Mexico. In New Orleans life is divided into pre-Katrina real estate and post Katrina real estate.  Just having the storm brewing makes you get prepared.  You have to ask yourself, could this happen again?  Its like you do not want to think about it but you have to watch and listen for the rest of the week. People become less interested in buying.  Agents are not interested either. Lets hope it blows elsewhere. Gustof or something like that, go away.

Eric, enough of this crap. It is to soon to dance with this again. I have tickets for Chicago but it is to see the Cubs this weekend. How do I leave and enjoy with not knowing if or when I am coming back. I may have to reevaluate this stuff.

The LSU game is Saturday. The Cubs are my favorite too. Take some nice photos and we will split a shrimp sandwich with John Walters.

Yeah, I'm with you...tell that bad boy storm to go away!

Maybe we could BORROW some technology from CHINA who seems to be way ahead of us on weather control!

Eric - we're watching Gustav closely, and hoping that it changes direction. One thing New Orleand doesn't need is another hurricane hit.

Eric - another day and it's still heading for New Orleans. I only hope that since "they" are sure it's headed for New Orleans, that it will take an unexpected turn and land somewhere else.

Sharon, a little nerve racking for us all. The yard is looking good as I have had time to work on that. many people have already gone.

Eric:  Atonishing picture.  May God take the punch out of this storm so that noone is harmed and may God protect those in its path.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My partner has relatives in Slidell and Chalmette who lost their homes in Katrina. They only recently started rebuilding so Gustav is not welcome. As a friend from New Orleans recently emailed me when it looked like Gustav was headed his way: "GAG" (Go Away Gustav).

Jim, I know none of us want to go through this again. Real Estate or the mortgage mess begin to seem minor. Look for higher oil prices next week. Maybe someone else will drill. Its always fine in someone elses yard untile you cannot get it from ours.cochin-goraka
