Trussville is a city and suburb of Birmingham in Jefferson and St. Clair Counties. Based on census data Trussville appears to have grown by about 5000 people from 2000 to 2006. Trussville is ranked as number 56 out of 100 in Money Magazine's Best Places to Live 2005.
Like many other places across the Birmingham area on Friday nights in the fall, Trussville begins to buzz about high school football. You will find in Alabama, that high school football is a source of pride.
Hewitt-Trussville High School in the one high school in the Trussville School System, so they want to stand tall among the surrounding communities. Last year, in the 2006-2007 season, they had an 8-4 year loosing in the second round of the playoffs. This year, I know they want to make some more steps toward their goal.
