You know how it is, you ask someone a question and the answer given is what they think you want to hear. For example, do these pants make me look fat? Gulp. No, they look great (if the pants were on a cow!). This is my dilemma. I am doing market research in the Raleigh/Triangle area. I want to talk to brokers who know the area. Who take pride in helping families connect to their dream destination.

I want feedback as if you were talking to your mom or sister…. "No way girlfriend, you do not want to live in Zebulon if you have any hope to get to RTP by our first coffee break, most of my clients choose x area because xxxx". Or, "80% of the clients I have taken to X community said they would purchase if the homesites were bigger than a postage stamp."

So how does one go about that? Yes, I could go to numerous brokers in the Triangle and pretend to be a potential home buyer. But, you see, I would hate that if the situation was reversed. Gas, wasted time, wasted energy, possibly a missed real lead. So what now, I am relegated to emailing a survey to all Wake County brokers. Hoping they will not delete me from their email. Hoping for participation for the sake of science. However, this hardly satisfies my need for the skinny!!
