San Remo is really nice.

San Remo is great, quiet, has a really upscale feel, at a really great price. My wife and I bought here in December, and we like our house (A Capri) so much, we'll retire here!

The property is nice, well-kept, and small enough that the (very capable) council can really keep up on things. The landscaping is great, the common areas are clean. We will keep our house here, because it will make a perfect retirement location. There's a lot of great commercial development that is ready to happen nearby, (not too publicized yet) and the values there will increase, for certain. We got into our Capri (with lots of options - plantation shades, built-in cabinets in living room, but no pool) for just under $300,000. It's a lot of value for such a great place with such great amenities, and NO CDD!!! (There's a $30,000 CDD fee at village of Bonita, so that's a great consideration.

There's also a lot of amenities at Palmira that are available to San Remo residents, so it's like getting the best of both worlds - country club, golf, two restaurants, and really great prices!

Plus, you can NOT beat Divosta construction - all solid poured, steel-reinforced concrete, NOT cinder block or wood construction. Best house I've had in 22 years of home ownership!
