Congresswoman Mary Fallin invited citizens to attend a town hall meeting at the Warr Acres Community Center on Wednesday, August 27th, 2008. Congresswoman Mary Fallin represents the Fifth District of Oklahoma, which includes most of Oklahoma County and all of Pottawatomie and Seminole Counties.
Congresswoman Fallin currently serves on the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, the Committee on Small Business, and the Committee on Natural Resources. She is also a member of the Executive Committee of the National Republican Congressional Committee, and serves as Small Business Chair on the Republican Policy Committee and Vice Chairman of the Women's Caucus.
Nancy and I were impressed at her enthusiasm and desire to help the district she serves. We wish to support her in anyway we can. Congresswoman Fallin desires public feedback along with prioritization on subjects such as securing the safety of our roads and bridges, making healthcare more affordable, reducing gas prices, balancing the budget, fighting the global war on terror, ending illegal immigration, and strengthening our economy.
