Michael, Thanks for reminding us all to take a day of rest and relax.  I'm reading active rain just until my son gets up.  He leaves for Ft. Bragg this afternoon.  I'm taking the uninterrupted time with him.

today is Labor day and it is a fantastic day here in Virginia. We have family here from New Orleans and they are enjoying beautiful weather!

Great picture, thanks for posting. Today is just that, a slide down the colors. Great family day. Was always the onset of fall and back to school when we were in NY. Now it is just another day in paradise.
