You definitely qualify. I don't go to many games any more since joining the ACC their popularity got HUGE...it's hard to get a ticket (even season tickets). But living in Blacksburg, I get caught up in the "hype". Some times it's frustrating (if you want to go to a restaurant on Saturday afternoon) or when your running late for an appointment and MUST go past the campus. But, that's what makes living in a college town so unique.
Living in a college town has it's rewards too..... real esate turnover is pretty steady and we didn't see that infamous "bubble" that other places did! And the more Tech grows, the more our town grows. So it's a win-win!

Diana: Know the commotion to which you refer. Tried for a long time to get out of town last week after the GT game. Took a long, long time for a visitor driving Main Street in slooooow traffic. Can imagine how the "natives" dread it. You have no idea how lucky you are not having to deal with the "bubble" we are facing here in Fredericksburg (the other 'burg).
