Education is fundamentally key and a shift is happening in every walk of life. The entire concept of global networking and information availablity is growing at exponential rates. Web 2.0 may blur past us into 3.0 before the end of this year. We better pick up the pace in educating real estate agents or their business will be replaced by those leveraging the exponential shift happening in the World Wide Web. Frank - I've seen a version of this before and it seems to be warning the US that we are getting behind in competitiveness more quickly than ever.

Unfortunately I think we could be in a sorrier state than this video suggests. There are people in this country who are diverting their children away from the world of information and pointing them straight backward. Who would have thought anyone would want that? Well - I suppose when everyone is working for a company based in India or China for $434 per month, we might see some interest in real education again.

Susanne, excellent point re: the China take over. Education is key and you already know it appears the majority of agent stray away from learning and/or work. I continue to be saddened by the lack of effort agents make in marketing their listings. At this point most market centers still has more than 75% of the inventory without multiple photos. That's plain lazy. Imagine what percent of agents pursue education beyond the required state minimums. Have a great year Suzanne frank
