Everything was all set, appointments made and confirmed for showings and the buyers were ready. It was a hot day, but progressed with all the houses. Got to the last one and, as usual, rang the doorbell, knocked, waited then used the lockbox combo for the key, the home was supposed to be vacant with furniture still there. I opened the door, while calling out "hello, hello" just in case, went thru the kitchen, living room with the buyers, noticed one bedroom door was mostlly closed. I gently called out "hello" as I opened that closed door. Low and behold, there was someone home, a man in his 20's, sleeping naked on the bed. The buyers were right behind me wanting to see the room, so whatever glimse they may have gotten, he was slightly covered with a sheet. I gently closed the door, motioned them to go back, and we left as quietly as possible. I locked it back up, explained to the buyers ( with a slight smile) and called the real estate office to inform them that someone was indeed in the house. Being a Realtor sure has it's momentous moments.
