When searching for a home in Clarksville, Tennessee;

the homes listed in the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) are divided into areas. I have a report that lists a brief description of each area with the advantages & disadvantages.

This report is on... area 72 (Palmyra/Cumberland Heights):

South of Ft. Campbell; a 20 to 30 minute drive to Ft. Campbell.

Advantages: Country living with acreage available, more home for the money.

Disadvantages: Shopping a distance and one bridge to cross going to Clarksville/Ft. Campbell     

 

This is God's Country! You will find large family farms, smaller family farms (5-10 acres), single-family homes, custom homes and a few subdivisions. Most of the homes are on septic systems and well water but some do have city water. Many properties in this area has untouched timber, fresh water springs and creeks. There is a combination of fairly level land to down right hilly, goat country. Prices of homes will vary depending on what you are looking for. Here you will find peace and quiet with enough space for horses, cows or just a place to hide-a-way. This area is rural but is growing as more people are looking the country life.

This area 72, sure does sound really fine. Haven space for horses and cattle is a really big plus. Thats for sure.
