Are All Agents The Same?

By
Real Estate Agent with Allred Realty

Now before I go to far I know that most agents are good however there are several things that seperate agents in todays market. I have noticed that there are several agents that claim they are the best, are they? Are they really the best? If they say that who's standards are they measuring by? We have all (hopefully) had clients tell us how good we are. My dad used to tell me, and now I tell my kids, if you are good you don't have to talk about it because others will do the talking for you. I completely believe that but my question is what sets one realtor apart from the next? We are not all the same ( at least not in my communities). I have had transactions that have gone smooth and I have had them that were far from smooth. sometimes it is just the situations but sometimes it is the agents inability to do what they nee to do. As a broker I have decided to focus on that which I can control and do well, that is serve my clients. As I told my youngest son this week I cannot control what others do but I can control how I respond to what they do. I have found that the best service I can offer is to serveice my clients with all I have. All of my knowledge, all of my team, all of my xperience, all of my resources and all of my ability. This far ion my career and as an owner of a franchise this has established my reputation that meets the needs of my clients. and because of that I have aquired a slogan that I say with pride...

"Meeting your needs today..for tomorrow"

What this means is that I will focus not just what is your immediate need but how the house we find you will suffice you as your needs increase.

To experince service that is above normal and beyond today call me and I will show you what sets me apart from the other real estate agents in the Ventura County area!

I too often wonder exactly what individual Realtors mean when they say they are the best. One size doesn't fit everyone!

I don't believe I am the best, but I do my best for all my clients.  I think that's what Realtors should be saying.  I will DO my best for you!

I think it's a dangerous course to take when agent's claim to be the best.  My mantra has always been to "under promise and over deliver."  Thanks for your post.....I enjoyed it!

I take great offense with agents whose advertising implies that others are less qualified, ethical, etc.

#1 Expert comes to mind.  What in the ^%$#&*((  makes these licensees any kink of #1 anything.  The implication is that agents who haven't bought into their system as less than "expert".  What is "expert" anyway.

I also question agents who advertise "ethical agent", blah, blah, blah.  The implication being that other agents are NOT ethical.

"When ethics county", hire blah, blah, blah.   I read that on a web site.  I want to punch them in the nose for making an implication that other agents are less than ethical.

Your dad was right.
