Spelling counts!

By
Home Inspector

I try to use spell check on all of my posts (I know, sometimes I forget).  The AR spell checker, though, cracks me up.

Does anyone else find it funny that the AR spell checker has blog as a misspelling?

I mean, this is a site for blogs, right?  I chuckle every time I see blog underlined.

Some options are: bog, log, blag, bloc, biog, bldg, blow, blob.

So, if you see me writting about my blob, I blame the spell checker!

I have always thought the same thing!  Here we are using a blog, and the spell checker does not recognize the word.

You are right about spelling. Grammar, too. I tend to discount blogs that have mispellings and read like a second grader wrote them.

Mary: I agree with you. Grammar has always been a pet peeve of mine. I recently was reading the comments on a listing. There were so many mistakes, I called the agent to confirm the facts. I'm sure I have made a blunder here or there, but it is truly embarrassing to read some of our esteemed colleagues ramblings.

It doesn't seem like spelling counts too much here.  It used to bother me a lot.  Now I just accept it as the way things are.

I always think that, too. There are a bunch of Internet related words it seems that are not real according to the spell checker dictionary. Pretty bizarre indeed.

Hello Rick- I don't complain about the AR spell checker too much because if you do it stops working completely. Be Careful!!

Thanks to all who commented.  It was just something I found amusing.  I guess I can blog (or blob). :)

That is pretty funny Rick. I have seen it elsewhere as mispelled.
