Scheduling myself out of a job

By
Real Estate Agent with Group One

I have found myself in the scheduling rut.  I work diligently coordinating schedules, calendars, contacts, websites, and have everything detailed on paper, as well as in my Outlook calendar.  So, why am I still sitting here surfing the web?

Get a grip and take the leap further.  You won't achieve unless you believe you can.  You need to have the mindset.

You know nothing produces work like work, so you'll get there. Be sure to plan for some downtime though. You know lots of people burn out in the first years, so don't let it happen to you.

Take care and best of luck.

It is easy to get caught up in surfing the web. There is just way too much entertaining and educational stuff to discover. Try and make a plan to post ads and blogs on the many sites that are effective. Active Rain is a great place to discover and be discovered.

I think you need a guidance counsler. Ask someone for advice if your plan isn't working. Do you have a mentor??

While you're figuring it it all out, working hard is not a bad thing to be doing.  On the other hand, here I sit surfing the web..unaccountable.  :)

That's one of the challenges of being your own boss.  I benefit overall with some down time to reset and work is not a smooth linear progression, but a cycle, sometimes going crazy, then taking a breather in between.  That works for me anyway.

Now get to work!!  ;)

Some days the worst thing that I can do is look at EVERYTHING that I have to get done.  It is daunting and easy to shut down.  Instead, I just look at 3 things I MUST do.  That is far easier and give myself permission to let some other things slide -- I find that once I've accomplished 3 things that I have enough steam to tackle yet another and another and so on and so on. ~ Evelyn
