Stay and enjoy the captivating Florida Charm this "ScoutHouse" offers. Originally built in 1926 by the Boy Scouts, this home has been creatively and masterfully updated for the current owners. There i s nothing left to be done, just move-in to this wonderful home on Historical, Oak-canopied, Main Street and enjoy the true Florida Lifestyle. Steps from the neighborhood Fishing/kayak Pier, where you can enjoy your favorite beverage while watching the sunset over the horizon of Little Sarasota Bay. Or, walk over to the new Baystreet Village with library, shops and restaurants.  The community of Osprey, once a sleepy fishing village, is becoming the mid-town mecca  of Sarasota county while maintaining its historical flavor. The "Scout House" renovation has been inside and out, including, but not limited to: plumbing, electrical, drywall, paint, flooring, appliances, insulation, fixtures, doors, etc. These renovations have increased the energy efficiency of the home and reduced the electric bill to $50 for July while the thermostat was set at 75 degrees.  You will enjoy showing and seeing this unique treasure.

Could you package that Scouthouse tree very carefully and ship it out to me. It's beautiful!

Isn't it fun to research the history connected to some of our real estate. Historical homes here get a pretty significant property tax break from several cities, so I'm always on top of that when showing properties to my Clients.

It doesn't even look like the same house!  It should be bought by a preservation society - don't you think??
