AMERICAN RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE

Did you know that a cancer patient can use between 10-20 units of blood and 10-50 units of blood platelets for treatment?  We all know someone who has had their lives impacted by cancer. Here is our opportunity to help ensure that cancer and leukemia patients have the blood they need to fight their diseases.  Help celebrate life and give them a better chance to expand their lives.  GIVE BLOOD!

DATE:   Tuesday, September 9, 2008

TIME:  10:30 AM - 2:30 PM

PLACE:  Prudential Select Properties,6149 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Charles, Missouri 63304

For an appointment, please call 636-720-1100

You don't have to be a real estate agent to donate blood.  Do you have friends, neighbors, buyers and/or sellers who would like to help their neighbors?  We have people from St. Charles, St. Peters, Cottleville, Harvester, O'Fallon, Wentzville, Defiance, New Melle donating.  Some are even coming from St. Louis County. How about someone representing the Augusta area?

Blood supplies are always lower afer a holiday weekend.  So please help the American Red Cross build up their blood supply!

Mary-Lou, thanks for the post. There is a blood drive in the town neighboring mine this week, and I plan on attending. I'm pretty sure you can donate every couple of months, but it's something I always seem to forget to do. Thanks for the reminder!

Good job blogging for blood, Mary-Lou!  Blood banks are my favorite cause.  I hope the blood drive is a huge success!

Blood is a gift that I wish I could give. Such a little thing that could mean someones life.

I had hepatitis when I was in middle school so I am not eligible to donate myself. My daughter is going to donate in my place.  She gets faint at the sight of blood, but is going to donate anyway. Our office thought it would be a great idea to have a blood drive after a long holiday weekend when supplies are traditionally low.
