The Salvation Army has 2 Retail Thrift Stores in Redding, 1 in Anderson, and 1 in Red Bluff in the North State. All 5 of these stores have a wide variety of items, including a large selection of collectors items, some of these items are called antiques.
Often customers are very surprised when they enter the Salvation Army Thrift Stores for they are stores that have a lot more than "junk". In fact, much of the inventory comes directly from retailers that overstock and send the extra to the Army. With the huge warehouse in Redding, everything from appliances to furniture is available to the retail stores. Included now is new furniture from a large national retail furniture chain, and it is on sale at drastically reduced prices.
If you have not taken the time to visit one of the stores near you, please drop in. There will be pre-holiday sales at all stores, and you can get a head start on some neat gifts for the special family and friends.
As one who's wife just got a beautiful small china dish, I can tell you it is worth the time and effort to visit the Salvation Army Thrift Store in this area.
Thanks,
