With the passing of the recent housing bill away goes the DPA. I am sure that many if not all the people that frequent this site are aware of this but some may not realize that most banks and lenders are pulling it before the October 1st deadline as outlined in the housing bill.
It is very important to convince any of your clients to take the plunge now before they are left looking to rent an apartment while trying to save up for the 3.5% down payment. I would also advise agents to get very, very familiar with all of the housing grants and bond programs that are available in your particular area. Options are always best to have ahead of time rather then waiting until the last possible minute.
