Valley Knolls in San Marcos - Plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX United

There are many subdivisions located in San Marcos but very few with as much open space as the Valley Knolls subdivision just east of the Twin Oaks golf course adjacent to the 14th fairway.

Valley Knolls is a community of 3 and 4 bedroom single levels homes with over 20 acres of low maintenance common area.  There is a short secluded walking trail, a large community pool surrounded by a very large park area. There is plenty of space to get out with family and friends and have a wonderful summer picnic.  Of course this IS Southern California so picnics can be enjoyed all year round.  The parks and trails are shaded by eucalyptus, pine and sycamore trees.

Never played a round of anything other than putt-putt golf until 1993, when I came to San Diego. Some golding friends from Texas came to see me, and I took them to Torrey Pines. I played my first "round" of golf on the North Course and shot a 184. My friends all shot 80s and 90s and were laughing at me. However, as I pointed out to them, the paid $20 to play one round of golf while I paid the same $20 but got in two rounds of golf to their one.

Just different perspectives, I guess. LOL

Russel- I usually take quite a few strokes per dollar spent as well but it is still fun to get out once in a while.

Hey, did you add that slide show since last time I was here? I don't remember it. I'm going to have to get me one.

See, even if you visit an old blog entry that you visited once before, you can still learn things.... LOL
