What's Your Niche Market? How Are You Working It Online?

I'm trying to read more blogs which are written by others in my part of the world, Silicon Valley. The variety is mind-boggling between those who clearly target their desired client base and those who don't.

This concept is exceedingly well executed in Silicon Valley Lofts http://www.siliconvalleylofts.com/, which also has an embedded blog, though it has not been added to a lot recently . The site is a complete wealth of information for anyone looking to buy a condo, loft or townhouse in downtown San Jose.

I had the pleasure of meeting a couple of the gents who run this site last fall when I was on a panel of bloggers speaking to my local board of Realtors, the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors, about blogging. They are as nice as they are knowledgeable.

If you are looking for an excellent example of target marketing, I'd hold this group and their website/blog condo up as a great example. Check it out!

Cheers!

Mary

Mary - How do you find the time to keep up with these other blogs while also creating so much content yourself?

I checked out the SV Lofts site and it certainly has a very specific niche and I would bet when folks search for SV lofts or condos they show up right at the top.  The site is also very nicely laid out.  My niche is geographic in that my main focus is my hometown of Ridgewood.

What is your niche?
