Sarah Palin a Power Moment and Quote

Did you have an opportunity to see and hear Vice President Candidate Sarah Palin speak at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday night?

During that speech she made a short but memorable quote.

Palin asked the attendees, "What is the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull?" She responded, "Lipstick."

I sense Sarah Palin is a pit bull with lipstick and that she would hold her own with anyone. I also understand that her nickname in high school was barracuda.

We are about to have a historical election and when the voting is done we will either have the first African American president or the first woman vice president in the White House.

Just another day in the life of American politics.

Now Lou!  These were not her words.  The speech was written for her by McCain's speech writers.  She did a great job on the teleprompter!

Actually she didn't do a great job on the teleprompter she kept looking down at her notes the whole speech. Now she is on the campaign trail with the same speech, still looking down at her notes. You would think she'd have it memorized by now.

It turns out the only truth in her speech is that she is a pit bull with lipstick on.

No interviews  just one speech that is actually filled with lies. She was for the bridge to nowhere before she was against it and her little small town has received more pork per capita than any other place in the country. She took advantage of the Republican controlled congress.

She didn't sell the state jet on ebay either it was sold not for a profit but at a loss through a broker.

Why All the lies? Thou shall not lie Sarah Palin!

I must say, I am not for either candidate, but one of the very few things I like about McCain was choosing a woman, because like you said it will force a 1st no matter what the vote outcome like you said!  I'm not sure I would have chosen Palin over a Dole or other more experienced woman, but I do like the forced first because of McCain choice!

If I have to choose based on who has committed the LEAST lies, I'll cast my vote for Sarah Palin.  I really like that she is not a Washington insider and that the....ahem....elite press was ticked off by having no foreknowledge of the event....awww, isn't that just too darn bad :-)

I've wanted a woman in the White House for so long and Sarah Palin is it....like it or not!!!  Finally something interesting about this election.

Gail: How many days has it been that Palin has not granted an interview. How many times can she trot out that tired convention speech? The more she repeats her lies she is digging herself a deeper hole to get out of. The plane on eBay? Didn't sell. McCain even lied about it the other day. It sold for a loss, to an Alaskan insider, a friend of the Palin's. Bridge to Nowhere? For it, then against it, but kept the $250,000,000. Gotta hate those earmarks. That "pipeline" she said was being buit, probably won't get stated until the middle of the next decade. Shall I continue?
