Do you have an Balanced Life?

By

I know for myself I find it slightly impossible to balance it all out. As a wife, mother to 5 and a Realtor balance seems to take the back burner along with the laundry most days of the week. I have my certain routines that are kept no mater what, like church on Sunday and a date night with my husband every few weeks. The things that seem to elude me are simple like mopping the floor, making sure the baby does not have jam in his hair and forgetting to charge my phone. I will be the first to admit the package is not always tidy but the important things are never missed. I schedule in dinner with my family, I tuck my babies in at night and I always turn my phone off at 10 pm. Sure this may lead to a missed late night rant call by turning off the phone ... is that so bad? Evening appointments are always a struggle to figure out because of my routines sometimes it means I sacrafice a few important calls and leads.

To be honest with you I think my idea of balanced maybe a little unrealistic. It is impossible to be always on top of it all. My clients needs are being met, my family is happy and no one is complaining to loudly that their feet are sticking to the kitchen tile....at least not yet.

balance has always been a challange for me. I have always burned the candles at both ends and then for giggles lit it on fire in a couple places in the middle to see how long ot would take before it broke. Thanks for reminding us all that we need to take care of ourselves. Maybe if we all took better care we would be happier and then in turn nicer to others we work with...
