'Seussical'
   Thursday, March 29, to Saturday, March 31 - Bordentown Regional High School will perform "Seussical" at 7:30 p.m. March 29, 30 and 31. Tickets cost $10, $8 for students with ID and senior citizens.

Tot Shabbat
   Friday, March 30 - Temple B'Nai Abraham of Bordentown will hold its monthly Tot Shabbat from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Celebrate Passover with a child-friendly service, story, afikomen bag craft and potluck dinner. The event is open to all families with children ages 1 to 6. Admission is free, but reservations are required.

'Night with Elvis'
   Saturday, March 31 - The Willitts-Hogan-Tonne American Legion Post 39 in Roebling will sponsor a night with Elvis. Doors open at 7 p.m. The Ladies Auxiliary Unit 39 will prepare a pork/beef and beer buffet, to begin at 7:30 p.m. A DJ will play oldies from 7 p.m. to midnight.
   The Elvis show begins at 9 p.m. with introductions by a Roy Orbison impersonator.
   Tickets cost $25 and can be purchased by calling Barney at (609) 499-0186, Tony at (609) 499-1683 or Charlie at (609) 298-6633. For everyone's comfort, only 80 tickets will be sold.

Easter celebration
   Saturday, March 31 - The men of Shiloh Baptist Church will observe their third annual celebration of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, presenting the seven last words from the cross, at 5 p.m. Several ministers of the Gospel will deliver a 10-minute message. Dinner will be served. Donations are $12 per ticket.

Hoagie sale
   Saturday, March 31 - The Florence Township Chapter of Deborah will be selling hoagies at Johnson's in Florence, Florence Township Library in Roebling, and Boyd's Pharmacy at Homestead. The American hoagies will be prepared by Nicky's in Florence and will cost $3.50.

Easter services
   Sunday, April 1, to Sunday, April 8 - Trinity United Methodist Church, 339 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown, has announced the following Easter services. The community is invited to attend.
   * Palm Sunday, April 1, 10:30 a.m., communion, palms, and special music. An Easter music CD will be given to everyone attending.
   * Maundy Thursday, April 5, 7 p.m., service with communion.
   * Easter Sunrise Service, April 8, 6 a.m., meet at the cross on the West Street lawn (weather permitting) or in the sanctuary if it rains.
   * Easter Morning, April 8, 10:30 a.m., Easter service.

Holy Week services
   Sunday, April, 1 to Sunday, April 8 - Rose of Sharon Lutheran Church, 41 Chesterfield-Jacobstown Road, Jacobstown, has announced the following Holy Week services. All are welcome.
   * Palm Sunday, April 1, 10:15 a.m., with a brunch served by the youth of the church following the service.
   * Sedar Feast, April 5, 6 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall.
   * Good Friday Communion Service, April 6, 7:30 p.m.
   * Easter Sunday services, April 8, 10:15 a.m.

Casino trip
   Sunday, April 1 - The Knights of Columbus No. 570 is sponsoring a trip to the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City. The bus will leave at 4:30 p.m. from the St. Mary's Church parking lot on Elizabeth Street, Bordentown, for a four-hour stay at the casino. The cost is $20, and each attendee will receive $22 in cash and a $5 food voucher.

Widows and Widowers dance
   Sunday, April 1 - The Widows and Widowers of Burlington County will host an evening of music and dancing from 7 to 10:30 p.m. at the Korean Presbyterian Church, 147 Route 130 North, Bordentown. This event is for widows and widowers only. Admission costs $7 for members and $10 for guests. Refreshments will be served.

Atlantic City bus trip
   Monday, April 2 - A bus sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter NJ 899 will leave Bordentown Township Community Center's rear parking lot for Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City at 9 a.m. and return at 6 p.m. Please park in the last row.
   The cost is $20, with a return of $25 in cash upon arrival and $5 food comp. There will be a movie, a 50/50 and door prizes. Proceeds benefit veterans and their families.

Spring camp
   Monday, April 2 - Fernbrook Farms Education Center will hold a spring camp at the farm, 150 Georgetown-Bordentown Road, Bordentown, from Monday, April 9 through Friday, April 13.
   From 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., children ages 6 to 11 will participate in tracking and birding activities, outdoor cooking, orienteering, crafts, and a campfire. Experienced staff will lead groups of no more than 10 children.
   The cost for the week is $175 with an additional charge for early drop-off and late pick-up. The deadline for registration is April 2.

Easter flower sale
   Wednesday, April 4, to Saturday, April 7 - The Mission Fire Company will hold its annual Easter flower sale at the Fire Station, 51 Groveville Road, Bordentown, on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m., on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., on Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until flowers sell out.

Easter Triduum services
   Thursday, April 5, to Saturday, April 7 - The Monastery of St. Clare, 150 White Pine Road, Chesterfield, has announced the following Easter services: Holy Thursday, April 5, 7 p.m.; Good Friday, April 6, 3 p.m.; Easter Vigil, April 7, 7 p.m.
   Those who wish to attend are asked to notify the nuns by calling (609) 324-2638 by April 2.

Easter flower sale
   Thursday, April 5, to Saturday, April 7 - The Auxiliary of the Florence Township Volunteer Fire Co. #1 will hold its Easter flower sale from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, and from 9 a.m. until supplies sell out on Saturday. The sale will be held at the new firehouse at 401 Firehouse Lane, Florence.

   Friday, April 6, and Saturday, April 7 - Jacobstown Firehouse, located on Route 521, will host an Easter flower sale from 1 to 6 p.m. on Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Fish fry
   Friday, April 6 - The Youth Activities Committee of the Bordentown Elks Lodge 2085, located at 11 Amboy Road, Bordentown, will hold its annual all-you-can-eat fish fry from 5 to 8 p.m.
   The menu includes New England clam chowder, battered fish, fries, macaroni and cheese, coffee and tea and desert. Adults cost $10, children under 12 cost $5, and children under 5 are free.

'The zone'
   Friday, April 6 - Holy Cross Lutheran Church invites the public to a coffee house atmosphere "ZoNe" at 7:30 p.m., immediately following the Good Friday service. BYO...instrument, voice, thoughts, friends.

Shrimp dinner
   Friday, April 6 - The Willitts-Hogan-Tonne American Legion Post 39, located on Fourth Avenue in Roebling, will host its monthly shrimp dinner. Doors open at 5 p.m. and close at 8 p.m., or when supplies sell out.
   A platter of 15 large shrimp, homemade potato salad, homemade cole slaw and dessert will be served. For those who do not eat shrimp, there will be meatball sandwiches with the same side dishes. The cost for shrimp is $10, $7 for meatball sandwiches. Everyone is welcome.

Auxiliary meeting
   Tuesday, April 10 - The Willitts-Hogan-Tonne American Legion Auxiliary Unit 39 will hold its monthly meeting at the Post Home on Fourth Avenue at 7 p.m. The report of the nominating committee will be given. All members are urged to attend.

MOMS Club meeting
   Thursday, April 12 - A MOMS Club meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Meet with other stay-at-home or part-time working moms in the community. The meeting is open to residents of Roebling, Florence, Bordentown, Fieldsboro and Mansfield. Refreshments are served and children are always welcome.

   Friday, April 13 - Holy Cross Lutheran Church is hosting a photo organization and scrapbooking workshop from 7 p.m. to midnight. The cost is $10.

Roast beef dinner
   Saturday, April 14 - The Willitts-Hogan-Tonne American Legion Auxiliary Unit 39, located on Fourth Avenue, Roebling, will hold a roast beef dinner starting at 4:30 p.m. and continuing until 7:30 p.m.
   The menu consists of roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, peas with pearl onions, cole slaw, rolls, butter, dessert, coffee, tea and soda. The cost is $13 for adults and $5 for children ages 5 to 12. Takeout dinners will be available. Advanced tickets would be appreciated, but they will also be sold at the door.

Beef and beer night
   Saturday, April 14 - The Bordentown Regional High School Baseball Booster Club will host a beef and beer night featuring DJ John Forte at the Hope Hose Fire House, 150 W. Burlington Street, Bordentown. The event will run from 7 to 11 p.m. and will benefit the BRHS baseball team. Admission costs $25 per person. All attendees must be 21 years of age.

Ladies night out
   Friday, April 20 - St. Mary's School PTA will sponsor its third annual ladies night out from 7 to 10 p.m. at St. Mary's School, Bordentown City.
   Admission costs $5 and includes a hot beverage, chocolate dessert and door prizes. Treat yourself to a manicure, massage, skin/cosmetic consultation and more. Shop for handbags, jewelry, fragrances and more. Light refreshments will be available. Attendees must be 18 years or older. Proceeds benefit St. Mary's School.

'I Hate Hamlet'
   Beginning Friday, April 20 - "I Hate Hamlet," by Paul Rudnick, will be performed by the Bordentown Community Players April 20, 21, 27 and 28, and May 4 and 5, at 8 p.m. There will also be a 2 p.m. matinee on April 29. All performances will take place in the old auditorium at Rancocas Valley Regional High School, 520 Jacksonville Road, Mount Holly.

Barbershop quartet
   Friday, April 20 - The Hedding/Wesley United Methodist youth groups invite everyone out to hear the Titanium Barbershop Quartet at 7 p.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church, 24573 East Main Street, Columbus. There will be free refreshments. A good will offering will be taken to benefit the youth groups going to church camp this summer.

Garden Club tea
   Sunday, April 22 - The Bordentown City Gardens will host its annual Garden Club Tea at 2 p.m. at the Carslake Center. Leonarda Safran will speak about orchid basics while enjoying high tea. There will be lots of other surprises. Tickets cost $10.

Driving class
   Tuesday, April 24 and Wednesday, April 25 - An AARP Safe Driver Course will be offered for local residents from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the North Hanover Senior Center, Schoolhouse Lane, North Hanover. The cost is $10, payable to AARP, and may be paid on the day of the first class.

Spirit walk
   Friday, April 27 - The 325th Anniversary Committee will hold the third spirit walk from 5 p.m. to midnight. Specials at local restaurants and discounts at local retailers will be available. Live music will play in the streets.

Class reunion
   Friday, April 27 - The William MacFarland High School class of 1949 will hold its 58th class reunion at the Town and Country Restaurant, Route 130 and 206, Bordentown. All class members are reminded to make reservations by April 16.

'Jailhouse Rock'
   Saturday, May 5, and Sunday, May 6 - Kidz With A Mission of Columbus Baptist Church will present the musical "Jailhouse Rock" at 2 p.m. May 5 (doors open at 1:30 p.m.) and at 3 p.m. May 6 (doors open at 2:30 p.m.). Admission is free. The show will be presented in the Praise Dome at Columbus Baptist Church, Main Street, Columbus.

Street fair
   Saturday, May 19, and Sunday, May 20 - The Northern Burlington Regional Chamber of Commerce will hold its 30th annual street fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in historic Bordentown. This event features over a hundred juried crafters along with Bordentown area merchants and services.
   Along with the crafts, there are two full days of family fun and entertainment. While viewing the hand crafted wares, don't miss the displays of entries for the annual quilt square competition. Food will be provided by local restaurants and non-profit organizations.

Class reunion
   Saturday, June 30 - The class of 1957 from William MacFarland High School in Bordentown will hold their 50th class reunion. Classmates who have not received information about the reunion are asked to contact Josephine at (609) 298-0865.
   The committee has not been able to locate the following classmates: Bob Ettenger, Dave Steindel and Shirley Williams. If anyone in the community knows how to contact them, please call Josephine.
