Why don't homes sell?

Sorry to be so blunt but here's the answer...

The home is ugly OR the home is overpriced.

I want my sellers to get the most they can and to have the timeline work out perfectly but the only way I can achieve these great goals is with help from my clients.

If you are stuck at a price, for whatever reason, you MUST make sure your home sells itself starting at the curb, once the door opens, at the toilets, and the view of the back door.  Why do you expect someone to want to offer you a great price when you don't want to put your toothpaste away before a showing?  Why should your home sell before your neighbors when the ant hills and the weeds out number the green blades of grass?  Can't spend any money on ant killer than you need to be ready to see a low offer.

It doesn't cost much money to paint the walls neutral and eliminate odors.  It doesn't cost any money to throw away excess "stuff" that you don't even plan on moving so junk it now!  Garage sales and Goodwill stores are excellent sources to rid the home of extras.  Less is more when people come look at your home.

If you'd like me to check out your home and help you prepare for a positive selling experience, I'm ready to be blunt - I'm ready to make sure "For Sale" becomes "Sold" as fast as possible.
