I voted Early and found no long lines.

Amazing, once upon a voting only happened in November. There were always huge lines and it took forever to complete your civic duty.

Well, guess what? I decided to test out early voting for this Tuesday`s Primary. I went to Pembroke Pines and voted. I showed up at 10:00am yesterday, to find that there were only three other voters beside myself there!

I couldn`t believe it! It took me a grand total of 6 minutes to complete everything.

We`re voting for congressmen, state legislators, county commissioners, school board members and judges in Florida.

I believe this is the new wave for people to vote, Goodbye Chads..

Welcome to the wonderful world of early voting.

My wife and I have been doing it since day 1 and it's marvelous.

This past election myself and one of my fellow Realtors drove down to a polling place, we were greatly outnumbered by campaign workers, strolled in, voted, and were back at the office in less than 30 minutes.

If only other political decisions could be half as sensible.

I have voted early in the past and it definitely beats standing in line in November.

Here in Crossville, TN we had our voting several weeks ago. Our actual voting day was going to be during the 400+ mile-5 state-longest yard sale of the world. The sale runs right thru downtown and voting on the actual voting day would have been nothing short of impossible.

Consequently everybody and their brother voted early and I had to stand in line for almost an hour for early voting. But that was better than the alternative.

Early voting is the only way to fly as far as I'm concerned though!

I'm glad the people in Florida are voting early, it's gives them that much more time to count.  :)

No kidding Kristal.

The joke going around after the last vote count debacle in Florida was that they're going to start voting there 6 months ahead of the rest of the country so we can all finish on time.

Apparently Al Gore was the originator of the "I voted for it before I voted against it" theory since he conceded the election before he unconceded. ;-)

With the event of early voting and absentee voting there are no more excuses for not voting.  My first question to people who complain about politicians, taxes, policies, etc is "Have you voted". If you can't be bothered to vote, don't bother me with your complaints!
