Staged Properties in Atlanta featured on TV

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Partners

A&E's 'Flip this House Atlanta' featured a property Staged by 4 Accredited Staging Professional Masters in Atlanta. www.stagingbythemasters.com.

Brook Furniture Rental provided the furniture. www.bfr.com.  I can't say enough about this company.  We were given free reign to choose anything in their warehouse.  We even used something from their showroom that was just decoration!  If we wanted it, we got it.  (BTW, they weren't getting paid for this.  Neither were we.  We were all doing this for national television exposure).

The first house was sold right away. The second house is still for sale.

Any TV exposure for Staging is good for all of us.

Congratulations on the exposure!

I'm so pleased that they staged a house on that show. I love to watch, but I often get frustrated when they put an empty house on the market. One episode featured the "flipper" cleaning a mirror while he said, "Just doing a little staging here..." Ugh!

BTW, I grew up in North Carolina so I know all about that red clay mud. Good thing they didn't have the carpeting put in or that mud might have ruined it.

Can't wait to see the episodes. I'll be back in the U.S. by the time the first episode airs (though I will be extremely jet-lagged).

Cheers,

Veronica

Angel,

I think you took the class w/me last summer w/Barb.  Anyways, Congratulations - a big moment for all of you!  I am horrible about trying to remember shows and making it a point of watching them except my DH on Sunday (light trashy fun is always good) and Grey's Anatomy.  I will make it a point to mark it on my calendar though to check you guys out!  How fun!!

Angel,

Can't wait to see your episode on Saturday....and I'll also have it on the TIVO for review later on!  How great that all 4 of you had this shared experience.  Regardless of how much of your work is highlighted, we will KNOW who made that house look GREAT -- the 4 Masters!!  Thanks for making the rest of us look good!

Angel,

The "Masters" are aptly named -- I watched the show and replayed the staging segment with my TIVO.  Your team truly transformed that house!  Every room looked so inviting.  Even with the renovations, it would NEVER have looked great without your staging magic.  What a great job!   Can't wait to see your next episode.

Angel,

I just saw the TV show.  Your team did a great job.  It really looked nice and presented staging in a very positive way.  I don't believe the house would have showed or sold as quickly without your beautiful work.  I had not read this post, I just stumbled upon the show and decided to see if there was anything about it on Active Rain.  VOILA!  Can't wait for the next show.

Angel,

I did watch  A & E's.Flip that House.  Since I am biased as a Stager, my comment is; they sure did not show much on how the home was staged, or was I sleeping? They did dwell to much on the mud and the concrete powder mix  in the back yard. Lots of negativity! Contracting 101 would have resolved that issue! But, they do call it flip that house! Your IAHSP staging appeared  top knotch.  You get a 5 star rating from one ASPMaster  to another.

I finally watched your episode on Tivo last night.  I was so excited to see you on the screen - you looked fab, btw!

It was so cool that they got a great shot of the back of one of your t-shirts that said "Staged by the Masters"  WooHoo!  You all did a great job - despite all the obstacles. They did focus on the fact that you may not be finished, but it seemed obvious that the house was in jeopardy of not being done the whole time.

I hope the Wilfords get better at this as they go along (I really think they have serious potential and hope they establish a very successful business), because that was highly frustrating to me.  That poor investor!  They definitely have communication issues.

Anyway- great job!  I hope you are flooded with work!
