Why play solitare and wait for the phone to ring?
Floor time was slow today at the office. Not one call or walk in, One e-mail from Craigslist (of course all of our 400+ listings are on Craigslist!). After responding to the e-mail, I dove into my client database and started calling.
What are you doing on florr time Waiting for the phone to ring, or making it ring? Here is what I did today:
- Spent time blogging on active rain and changed my standing from #30 in Marysville WA to #12!
- Called BOEING workers/ clients to support their possible strike
- Sent two cards out to clients.
- Called and thanked a client for a referral
- Called another client and put together some marketing to mail her
- Met with a web site developer
- Met with the rep for Kirkland Taste of the Town fundraiser
- Met with one of my mortgage reps for 30 minutes
- Called a client who has credit issues and cannot buy for a months to reassure him I will be there
- E-mailed another client to see if I could do a CMA for their home
- Updated my John L. Scott profile
- Updated my Active Rain profile
- Worked on my Linkedin account
- Cut out an article from the Everett Herald to mail to a client
I still have another hour here. The way I see it, if I am here, I am here to work! In this market, you have to STAY POSITIVE and GET BUSY!
My kids need to eat! They are my motivation! That is why my daughter is the photo om my ACTIVERAIN website! YOU HAVE TO KEEP FOCUS IN THIS MARKET!
