Seperating politics and our business! Shower Cap Wisdom

By
Real Estate Agent with Preview Properties

At a recent meeting for The New Home Team, someone brought up the governor's race in our beautiful state of Washington. Two candidates, on the incumbent. The other, a real estate agent!

Which one is going to be more freindly to housing, real estate agents, licensing, mortgage issues, and the like? Probably the real estate agent.... BUT, what if a person likes the incumbent more on a personal level.

Do we have to put aside our personal beliefs and desires as to who we would like to see in office?

I believe we do, sometimes. If it is good for our business, we need to vote with our commission checks, not our personal agenda!

Without "selling out", how do we decide how to find the balance between what is good for business and what we personally feel is the right candidate?

Hi Jim

Voting for the best person is the right thing to do, that's why we have a secret ballot.

Good luck and success

Personally I think there are other issues besides what is good for your business.....Looking at everything before making a decision is how I choose.  there are many people I might not like, but they are the best for the job.
