The Cost of Inaction

"There are risks and costs to a program of action.

But they are far less than the long-range risks

and costs of comfortable inaction."

John F Kennedy, 35th President of the United States

As I see it. . . . . . . .

A person with a proactive plan that takes a calculated risk has a strategic advantage over the person who takes no action.

As my wise old grandmother told me, "A decision to do nothing is just like a decision to do something. Both are decisions. However, you'll [accomplish more and] make more money if you decide to do something."

Inaction is still a decision. It is a choice - sometimes a default selection - not to take a stand or to try to impact a situation.

It is usually so much easier to not make a direct decision to travel a certain path - yet it makes the journey so much more difficult!
