Last night, with only my youngest son, the older one was at Football practice, myself and my husband went to La Placita Cafe for Dinner.
I don't know if I mentioned this but maybe you are beginning to pick it up that I am a vegetarian. The rest of my family is not.
We love to eat out, to dine, to entertain. You may hear a lot about my eating adventures in Tucson since I do consider myself some-what of an expert.
I love to cook. I love to eat and I love to try new things.
Please note that even though I am a vegetarian, I also know a whole lot about meat. I don't eat or taste meat, but somehow, someway I know good meat.
Last night me and my hubby shared the Vegetarian Topopo Salad with Guacamole and a Bean Burrito. Please note beans and tortillas do not include lard. Yeah, that's a huge plus for me because I can't eat in Mexican restaurants that do.
My ten year old had the Chicken Chimi that was perfectly made to his tastes -- white shredded chicken, little sauce and not too many veggies. We brought one home for our twelve-year old too. They are very picky eaters and only like Chicken Chimi's from certain restaurants. This was a winner for the todo familia.
Cheers and Feliz Mexicano Eating.
Uniquely Yours,
Tamara
