Four month old Phantom entered his first competition in Clairmont, California this weekend at The Rare Breed Association (ARBA) Dog Show.

Phantom is a Cane ( pronounced "connie") Corso and is following in his sire's footsteps, Scandifio's Nino, a great champion with purebred Italian bloodlines.

Phantom won (3) 1st Place Puppy, (3) 1st Place Best of Breed Junior Puppy and (3) Best of Breed!

We are all so proud of him. He is a great addition to our family and we love him dearly. He is so gentle and full of love. He will grow to be approximately 140 lbs. of Love to be exact.

As you can see by the picture below, Phantom and my grandson, Micah, had a Big Day.

Teresa, Lots of dog goodies (fresh cooked liver). We have Josie, an eight month old pure bred cane corso female, also from champion lines. My son will eventually breed the two.

Thank you for the comment.

Years ago we use to breed Shar-Pei's. It was sooooo fun helping momma with the delivery to make sure that the sacks were broken and everything was going as was suppose to.. and the smell of sweet puppy breath. We had two females and one male and they were always good parents!

Although ours were never show dogs, they were from champion blood lines, and we did go to a few shows just to see what they do at shows.

Teresa, This is our first experience with shows. My son is really excited about this new adventure. Time will tell. For now it's great family fun.

Linda - That is so awesome!  We have a full blooded Border Collie.  He is so smart!  It's awesome about the champion and so exciting too.

Cheryl, Pat and Susan,

Thank you so much. He really is flawless and you would be amazed at what a lover and cuddler he is. Of course we'd love him just as much if he were ugly and not a champion. That part of it is just a fun family adventure.
