Staging your home costs less than your first price reduction!

Home staging is simply the merchandising of a house to capture the hearts and bids of potential buyers. The objective: making a good first impression.

By staging your home, you are investing in your most important possession and earning back your equity to put towards your new home.

Return On Investment

According to the National Board of Realtors, staged homes sell 50 percent faster than homes that are not staged, and can bring in a return of up to 4 dollars for every dollar spent on staging. The average staging investment is between 1 and 3 percent of the home's asking price, which generates a return of 8 to 10 percent. For an average priced home of $250,000, spending $2500 to $7500 will generate a return of $20,000 to $25,000! In today's much more competitive market, having your home staged by an expert who does this for a living is all the more imperative.

The homeowners that spend a little extra time staging their home typically sell much quicker than those that don't. Think of staging as your insurance policy for the quick sale. Spend the time on it now, and enjoy settling into your new home without the worries of selling your old home.

So many people wait until the home has been on the market for a while to call in the stager--it's too bad, becauseultimately they see how much time they wasted by not making that investment from the beginning......Staging is most definately a good investment.
