The City of Ouray is examining the viability of harnessing power from its geothermal hot springs...Pagosa Springs is the only municipality in Colorado with a geothermal heating district.
I find this very interesting for two reasons:
1) why aren't more cities taking advantage?
2) when I went to Yellowstone it was my impression that if we (humans) mess with natural geothermal systems we destroy them. Thoughts?
Sorry, we haven't been to your blog in a while. This is really interesting information. Any new news about it? Cheri & Larry
I came through Pagosa this April for the first time. Charming town. This is really interesting, I hope you follow up.
