ENDURE...MY FAVORITE WORD!

Sometimes all you can do in life is endure. I have never wanted to give up on anything and I certainly will not give up on selling real estate. I realize that I am an individual capable of great things and I have to learn more to grow! I am sometimes filled with fear when it comes to learning new things but I am now looking forward to my opportunities. Why be afraid? Everyone has fear about one thing or another. Mine is usually about looking like an incompetent person. I certainly have room to grow, but I am not a cripple. In fact I like a challenge because it makes me a stronger and more resilient person.
I have watched my mom fight ovarian cancer for 9 years. I never thought she would make it past 3 years. Yesterday I celebrated her 60th birthday with her. I avoid her sometimes because it hurts me to think that I may someday live without her and I will have to take over the role as "the mom". I don't want to do that any time soon. I love that woman with a passion and I want her to leave this world knowing that I am "okay".
When I say the word, endure, I think of my mom and know that if my mom can face all that she has and not give up I can do the same. Real estate is my passion and I absolutely love what I do. I have to endure, I am the mom of 3 beautiful girls and I do it for them as well as for myself and my clients.
When I get kicked in the the teeth I stand up and face the challenge. If she can face cancer I can face any buyer, seller or changing market. I will not give up and I will be the number 1 real estate agent in Nebraska in the future. I have no doubt about that! I have one person to thank for this..it's my mom. Thanks mom for being so strong and thanks for teaching me to endure!
