Freddie Mac and my short sale

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty

Hey Folks!

Just wanted to post a little feedback about Freddie Mac. I currently am working on a short sale submitted to Bank of America. Well, the investor is Freddie Mac and we are currently waiting on their approval.

After waiting over 30 days for that to happen, I finally broke down and called Freddie! I was not on hold forever, and the customer rep was very nice and understanding. I am supposed to get an update in the next 48 hours. I will post my experience about that later.

This is just a little post I wanted to share. I will add their phone number later. I encourage agents to contact Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae about the files being reviewed. Maybe we could push the short sales through a lot quicker and our Buyers wouldn't be walking!!!

Blog ya later!

Hi Evelyn, your post is absolutley correct in highlighting the time a buyer is willing to wait for the lender to respond.  Thankfully for all, I am a buyer of Florida short sales that doesn't mind waiting for the right short sale deal!
