With regard to "saving money and earning our right to own a home", the challenge is that most Americans don't know the basics of financial planning and saving.  We are a consumer society and we spend on the wrong things like cars and big screen TV's.

It will take a commitment to financial literacy which will increase the time between meeting a client and closing a deal. Is there money to be made by doing this? ABSOLUTELY.  Are most agents and loan officers willing to build a pipeline over time while educating consumers? Most are not and cannot due to personal financial needs and most won't due to fear of losing the client after educating them.

It was too easy before it still needs to be a little more attainable to own now.
