Home Buyer Guide

So you've made the BIG decision - you are ready to buy a house!   Now What?!?  I want to help you unravel the Mysteries  of this process and help you avoid the Hassles!

SO LET'S GO - LET'S TALK ABOUT BUYING A HOUSE!

STEP ONE:            "THE LOAN"

One of the worst things I, as a Realtor, could do, would be to show you a house that you could not yet afford.  That's why the FIRST  STEP to home buying is to get yourself Pre-Qualified for a home loan.  By being Pre-Qualified for a loan you put yourself in a strong position to negotiate with a Home Seller.  We present your Pre-Qualification Letter with the purchase offer for a house.

STEP 2 - TOMORROW!!!

Kathy~ I agree with you.  The best thing a buyer can do is get pre-qualified first.  It really does put them in a better negotiating postion, but it makes it even better if they are already approved!

Kathy:  So important for our buyers to connect with a lender first.  I usually tell them, as much as I would love to be the first and most important step in this process, I am not.  We need to talk to a lender who can help us figure out what price range is realistic for our shopping.

Kathy - I agree with you, I just wish buyer's would take our advice... so many think they have all the answers and don't consider the kind of experience we can lend to them!

Thanks for your encouragement on my blog and the e-mail, I appreciate it very much!

Here's to a super 2009!
