Lipstick on a Pig?

By
Real Estate Agent with Allen Tate Realtors

Well, we know that both candidates have used this euphemism when talking about a female running for office.  McCain did it against Hillary and so did Obama yesterday, against Palin.

It could also be said that the Horns on a Bull are still just more bull were you referring to mail politicians, but women are too polite to do that.

It will sure be nice when all this bull is over.

Funny photo James, but the wrong shade of pink :-)!  Sheila, I totally agree and can't wait for everyone to get back on track on how they are going to change Washington and honor the promises they are making to the Americans who vote for them.

Boy, do I agree.  I am tired of it all, too!  This too shall pass soon...

Personally if he were referring to anyone I think it was Mccain. Meaning McCain could add lipstick to his campaign (pig) and it is still a pig.

My grandfather used to tell me that all the time 50 years ago back home on the farm.

He could have been referring to McCain, however, it is has not been used by either of them unless there was a woman involved.  Just not the best choice of comparisons.

I like the funny pig above, but the lipstick should be red. :)

Sheila,  You must not have seen Palin convention speech.  She wasn't too kind.  She just did it with a smile.  :-)

I agree with Jimmy... she sure doesn't come across to me as a warm or endearing person... but I bet you that an intelligent wig manufacturer could pair up with an eyeglass knock-off manufacturer and make a fortune since Halloween is coming up.  All you would need to complete the cotume is the "Miss Congeniality" sash. :)

Jimmy, yes, I did see her conventon speech and yes, she was direct, but did not appear to me to lack warmth, but then again, that is not where I would expect to see that.  You can get away with more if you're smiling. lol

Steve, you must be a Democrat. :)

Jimmy, I saw it too in it's entirety.  Isn't is amazing that 2 people can watch the exact same thing and "hear" 2 different things?  LOL.  I don't know if I get amused or infuriated flip flopping from Fox to CNN and having them both report the same video clip and both making totally different conclusions.  I think the Ozone is destroying valuable brain cells or something.

Hi Sheila, I tread your posts and thought I would also read through the comments and see where your readers might be heading with their comments. I don't feel anyone wanted to be real clear in their sentiments and that is fine, we are a real estate network and perhaps not so politically revealing.

I enjoyed your post. You hadn't posted in a while and just checking in, hope all is fine.
