Does anyone watch the show on Bravo called "Millionaire Real Estate Agent? I love that show.
I just recently saw an episode this past Monday. It was unbelievable and not in a good way. I did like watching it though.
Colleen,
When is it? I, as Mary, never heard of this show, but it would be interesting to check.
If you are talking about the show that has the three guys on it. I caught the marathon they were running the other night and got sucked in. I thought it was entertaining to say the least.
Colleen I have not seen or heard of the television show "Millionaire Real Estate Agent". Sounds very interesting. I will see what network its on though.
The show is a train wreck and you can't help but watch to see what stupid thing they will do next. It is on the bravo channel @ 10pm Tuesday's. They play with their hair, break in houses, bad mouth other Realtors the list goes on. Nothing like REAL world high end Real Estate. Its TV hey people think Wrestling is real also.
The show is called, "Million Dollar Listing", not related to the Keller Williams book, Million Dollar Real Estate Agent."
Coming from a KW agent, the book is amazing and a new book by the same authors just came out about the market shift, appropriately named Shift. http://www.millionairesystems.com/msys/shift.html
And as for the show- I too was sucked in during the marathon they had the other weekend. It made me want to run off and sell million dollar listings in Malibu!
BTW, if you do watch the show, pay close attention to Madison.. if he looks familiar it's because he was one of the agents featured in a past issue of the Realtor magazine for being one of the top '30 Under 30.'
It's an addicting show but I need to limit myself so that I can actually get my OWN listings sold here instead of just watching it on tv :)

Yeah, I have seen it and it is somewhat entertaining, but trust me, there is nothing real about it. These type of shows are pretty much staged, and oftentimes the people in them are wannabe actors. Just keep in mind when watching it that it is just like watching Friends, CSI, or some other show. I wouldn't take it too seriously, and think that the show is really how a Millionaire Real Estate Agent works without all the cameras and commercial financing.
It's called "Million Dollar Listing" and it is on Bravo, Tuesdays at 10PM EST.
I've seen the show as well and admit I can't stop watching...the guys they have chosen to follow are entertaining enough, but it IS a train wreck.
How many of us would just break/walk into a house without an appointment? Not to mention a house that doesn't even have a sign posted? Not to mention a multi-million dollar property? How many of us would show up to a client meeting dressed in gym shorts, a very sweat stained shirt, unshaven, hair dishevled, wearing a headband and sunglasses? Not many (unless we had that sort of relationship with the client)...especially if the client was selling a home valued at $8.6 Million.
It's addictive and does portray some real life scenarios, but so much is left out/cut short that it doesn't show the reality of how hard most of us work at this business. As much as it is a guilty pleasure, I have the advantage of knowing the reality...unfortunately our clients that watch do not.
Colleen
I have watched a few episodes, and I have to say, it is highly entertaining...BUT....it is about as real as Joan Rivers face! Honestly, staged to the max. with actors, who I am sure are RE agents, but let's get serious.....this is a Hollywood set, designed to pull you into the drama. Another Reality Show, that makes us believe this is how REAL R.E. agents actually live and just rake in the bucks...I mean, when was the last time you made a $250K commission?

Is that different from million dollar listing, which I watch every week on Tuesday's with three young high profile selling guys? I am going to post on this show soon, it's absolutely amazing to watch these guys work it....I keep thinking if they can do it....I need to get my license:-)
I know it is harder than what they portray.
