Where Does Business Come From?

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Cascade Real Estate

I track my source of leads. Logging each...referrals, sign calls, floor calls, internet, etc. Partly from curiosity and partly from wanting to concentrate my advertising dollars where they do the most good.

In my case I find (as I am sure many others do) I spend the largest percentage of $$ (about 52%) on print advertising which garners about 11% of my leads (rephrase that... of my closings). My inclination is to cut the 52% back to about 15%. I think some advertising is necessary for a "presence" and some may actually result in other leads... Jake refers Karen because he saw an ad and also knew me...

Keeping an eye to the future, I may not always be as busy as I am today... so we all need to constantly feed the ole pipeline... but what variety of feed do we use?

Thanks for your comment Jon!

The pipeline is the key. Too many of us worry about managing the closing so we get paid. But that really causes pipeline problems. Keep the pipeline full, give great service and pay attention to details and the paydays take care of themselves!
